Afshin Jafari Mojdehi, our dear friend, classmate  and colleague unbelievably passed away in 19th of  Shahrivar 1382. This awful incident made us  begin an attempt to make his name eternal. Since  Afshin's most important interest was Economic research , we came up with the idea that a good way  to keep his name remembered, is to announce an annual  competition to select the best economic paper  ,awarded by a special prize.  To implement this job,  "Afshin_Prize_Group" was  established in 23rd of Shahrivar 1382. This group  includes his friends in Iran and abroad, mostly graduate students in Economics . The fund supporting  this prize is raised by afshin's classmates and our  aim is to approach his goal to disseminate economic  research without any personal and political  interest.
